The Syllabus

“Every studio deserves to have amazing teachers and choreographers pour into their kids and faculty. But the fact is a lot of studios miss out on those opportunities. We want to change that with The Syllabus.” –Kim McSwain Changing Lives: The Syllabus is an artist in residency program that allows Changing Lives faculty to work and connect with studios on a regular basis—not just sharing their expertise but building strong relationships that help build strong programs. How It Works The Syllabus begins with Kim sitting down to discuss the needs of your studio, your brand, and how Changing Lives faculty can help you best achieve your goals. Studios then book a Changing Lives artist to come in on a monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly basis to work one-on-one with dancers and faculty. Artists set up a specific curriculum, provide music playlists, and meet with teachers to help them formulate a strategy to develop their dancers.

Changing Lives handles all booking, scheduling, travel arrangements, and correspondence with your artist in residence to make the process as easy as possible for you.

Our goal is for Changing Lives artists to become part of your studio family. They can be advertised as ‘Artist in Residence’ on your website and marketing materials. And all fees are tax deductible for your studio under ‘Educational Arts Training.’

We’d love to make The Syllabus part of your studio! Book Here
